After a long winter, we hope you can join the Maryland Playback group in Westminster for a Playback workshop and skills sharing. We'll be meeting Sunday, May 18, from 1-4 PM in McDaniel College's Alumni Hall in Westminster, MD. The workshop is a "play day" exploring our stories while learning and using the improvisational forms of Playback Theatre. In Playback, participants tell their own stories and watch them played back on the spot by an ensemble of actors. In this workshop you will have many chances to tell, to act, to watch and to accompany with music. You will have a chance to build community connections, learn listening skills, have fun and much more.

This event features the stories that you bring about your hometown -- the good, the bad and the ugly -- in a dynamic improvisational performance using Playback Theatre.

We are designing this retreat especially for the core folks of the Healing York Playback project. AND we wanted to open it to others who have also played before.
