Playback Theatre is forming a new active network for North America, for the first time since it began 35 years ago.  People who love Playback Theatre are gathering in Washington DC at the Sidwell Friends School, Oct. 1-3, 2010, to explore how to grow Playback Theatre in North America.  Many people in leadership from the 66 active Playback companies in North America are coming as well as the new director of the Playback Centre/School, Sarah Urech, along with members of the Centre's Board.  The focus of the gathering is in how to assess and strengthen Playback Theatre's social impact, raise its visibility, increase its financial strength, and support an interactive network and online knowledge-base.
